About
The show
For three centuries an empire did something quieter than conquest: it relabeled. A painter born in Kyiv became a Russian painter. An engineer born in Zhytomyr became a Soviet secret. A song written in a Ukrainian village became a Christmas standard with no author at all.
Ukrainizer opens one of those files one at a time. Not with opinion — with documents. A birth record, an arrest questionnaire, a museum's own catalogue entry contradicting the museum next door. Every source is listed on the episode page, linked, so you never have to take our word for it.
